We had a nice time for a 3-day weekend. Not much snow yet so we enjoyed hiking Mirror Lake and tubing at Ski bowl. The house is comfortable with two living spaces to spread out. We were impressed by the comfortable mattress and bedding in the king room. Some areas of the home could use a little TLC (couches, hot tub). Make sure to bring your own firewood if you want to use the wood stove. The house did not have any. We expected there to be wood for the first fire, which seems to be standard for most places we rent, but the notebook in the house directs you to purchase wood at the market. The proximity to the river is great - there’s a small bank on the riverside that would be really nice on a sunny day.
The cabin was clean on the inside but with fallen tree debris outside and heaters not working, I can’t give good rating for the stay. Hoping next guests will have better experience.
Loved the private hot tub! Place was doable with 6 people, but not enough downstairs lounging space, and wish there had been an extra shower in in-suite. bathroom.
We loved our stay at this home. The beds were comfortable and it was a fun house.
Our family was in town for my Mother in-laws 94th Birthday and we appreciate the rental so we could all be together. We will treasure the time we spent with our family and your home. Thank you
Property was clean and first floor has a large master with a half bath. We did not use the elevator to the second floor. We discovered that the couch and loveseat of the first floor were broken down and difficult to get off of. The elders, 73 and 74, in our party needed pillows to sit on so they could stand without help. Location is great! The grocery store is nearby and it is a short drive to Mt. Hood. We enjoyed walking on paved trails along the Salmon River in the Wildwood Recreation Site, about a mile from the entrance road to the property.
