Spacious Mountain Home with Decks, Firepit, Grill, Wood Stove, W&D, & Free WiFi

We loved the house and the location.

The home was furnished beautifully and comfortably. The necessary amenities were available. Location was very serene, yet close to many attractions! It was also not a long drive from Portland. It was nice to have a garage available to use at this location and room for 4 cars on the property. Liked the two different rooms to socialize in…the family room and front living room. The house has 3 bedrooms, but has the capacity for 10 people, using the comfortable couches. We only had 3 persons this visit however. Stay was very pleasant!

What a difference a year makes: This house is darling and the location is incredible. We even booked it again after staying here in 2023. HOWEVER this time we will not be returning again and it's a shame. When we arrived the cleaning had not been completed, the floors were covered in debris & food. Once we proceeded to clean, we realized the vacuum was broken which I suppose accounted for the dirty floors. We spent an hour sweeping. The master bed had no sheets and none available. The rental manager had to personally deliver some. The washing machine was full of dirt, twigs etc and the dryer showed an error code. We showed the manager who told us the dryer has ongoing problems and would get someone out to fix it but wasn't sure when. When turned out to be the day of our check out, 5 days later. So we never were able to do any of our laundry. Hopefully you all like handwashing dishes because to our dismay the dishwasher was also broken, not only does it smell like rotted food but upon trying to use it, leaked water all over the floor so we had to clean everything again. The house itself as we said is very cute but has a terrible moldy/mildew smell. Make sure you check that all these things are fixed or I would wait to book it. Unless ya'll don't need appliances. It took several calls, photos and escalating our concerns to Vacasa before we were partially refunded for this trip.

It was an exceptionally clean and spacious home with great amenities. It's close to all the trails in the mount hood area. We made good memories!
