Love Seventh Mountain for the beautiful location and amenities (pool, mini golf, disc golf, etc.). The room was fine for our needs. Has a mini-fridge (not listed in amenities when we booked). As other reviewers have noted, there is pretty constant pinging noise coming from the wall—maybe a pipe in the wall. If you turn the room fan on high, it may provide enough white noise to block out that pinging. Murphy bed worked well. The keypad was tough to figure out at first—finally realized you have to "wake up" the keypad by hitting the top button, before you punch in your code. And you have to then turn the handle below the keypad to finish unlocking the door. So check-in was a little frustrating, but once we got that sorted, it was all good. Overall, worked great.
The location is great, with easy trails to the Deschutes River, and miles of forest all around. Sleeping is not so great here. The pipes in the ceiling by the windows make tapping and clicking noises at night. The pipes expand or move when used and make a noise. It will take cutting into the drywall to fix that, but will be worth it. Bring a white noise machine to filter out the pipe sounds while you sleep. Or maybe play an audiobook of Poe's "The Raven" on repeat with the volume turned up, so the sounds of Poe's lines "nearly napping, there came a tapping" can drown out the noise of the wall pipes tapping, tapping evermore.
We loved the resort activities! The unit was clean, the bed, bedding and the Murphy were comfortable. A/C work great. When choosing your unit take note that for this one the square footage is low, it's on the ground floor, the door between this unit and the room next door is not soundproofed, and there is no kitchen.
bathroom facilities were very good
If you just need a place to sleep this will work, it is claustrophobic if you have more than 2 people
