Inn at Sandcastle Beach

Loved the location of the house with such ease access to an incredible very private beach. Views are spectacular. Not super fancy but awesome beach house with lots of bedrooms, bathrooms, space inside and out.

We enjoyed this house with our group of 8 high school students and 2 adults. There’s lots of room and lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, though the downstairs layout doesn’t allow for as much privacy. (4 bedrooms upstairs and 3 downstairs; upstairs ones are much nicer). One of the upstairs rooms is small and would be better for children as the bed is narrow and short and there is also a window into that room from the living room, which is awkward for some. Two of the upstairs bedrooms have private bathrooms, which is nice. The downstairs was freezing cold until we found the baseboard heaters, which helped some. There are a lot of extra blankets. Laundry facilities need work. The house is mostly clean, but a little TLC is needed in certain areas. The view is beautiful. The ping-pong and pool tables were a big hit. Games are provided. All in all, we had a great time!

Views are unbelievable from the home!! Lots of space for many guests. Enjoyed the pool and ping pong tables. Note that both levels had different floor elevations throughout.

Beautiful views from windows and deck. Great to have enough bedrooms and bathrooms for our large group. Wonderful beach and access was good but would not recommend for older adults as it is very steep. Lots of family space for games and crafts. Cleanliness on lower level could have been better as there were lots of cobwebs and spiders. Encountered a mouse but only saw him one time. Lots of traffic noise in bedrooms facing the road. Main living room furniture appeared to be new and was comfortable. Overall, we had a great stay in spite of some issues.

*Loved the size of the place and the number of bedrooms and bathrooms which was nice for our group. *Downstairs could do with some updating and would be helped by having windows that could be opened so you could hear the waves and to air out the downstairs. *Amazing views of sunsets, easy and close beach access. Close to Waldport, can easily drive to Newport, and Yachats. *Kitchen silverware needs updating and furniture needs to be tightened. *Deep-cleaning is needed. *Effort was made to decorate the house with a beach-theme. *Some "bedrooms" were loosely named: some rooms were very crowded or were not fully walled or were quite tight for space or had a glass window without curtains right off the living room. This was mentioned in some of the provided information. These would be fun for kids. *Overall, we had a good time and there was plenty of space for everyone. We had amazing views of the ocean and enjoyed hearing thr waves. There is a nice little deck downstairs. With some work, extra cleaning, and some investment in thr downstairs, this place could be even more stunning.
