Lock Type: Smart Lock Primary. Unlock the Door Notes: To unlock the door and enter the home: Enter the Access Code on the keypad. A green light will flash and indicate the code is accepted on the Schlage button. If the light flashes red, the code may have been entered incorrectly. Allow 5 seconds for the lock to reset and try again. Rotate the deadbolt that is under the keypad AWAY from the door jam, unlocking the deadbolt. Open the door using the door handle. To lock the door: Press the Schlage button on the keypad. Rotate the deadbolt that is under the keypad TOWARD the door jam, engaging the deadbolt. The door does NOT lock automatically, so please lock it when you leave. Troubleshooting Steps: A green light will flash and indicate the code is accepted on the Schlage button. If the light flashes red, the code may have been entered incorrectly. Allow 5 seconds for the lock to reset and try again. The lock will enter an inactive state for 30 seconds after entering the wrong code 3 times in a row. After the inactive time has passed, the next wrong code will make the lock enter another inactive state for another 30 seconds.
