Enter the great space of the open living, dining room, and kitchen with wood floors, vaulted ceilings, and abundant natural light. Grab a seat on the colorful sectional and get warm in front of the fire in the stone hearth while you watch a DVD on the flatscreen cable TV with all the kids. There are two large window seats that offer a great view of the estuary, and are perfect for curling up with a book from the shelf. The dining table under the rustic chandelier has seating for eight, with two stools nearby at the kitchen counter. Enjoy a family meal together or bust out the board games from the closet for an old-fashioned game night! The kitchen has full, updated amenities that make cooking anything possible, and there is plenty of counter space for appetizers while you cook. A dishwasher even makes clean-up stress-free, and a new microwave was added in Sept 2025. Three bedrooms and two and a half baths make this house suitable for up to six. Downstairs you'll find a room with a queen bed, TV, and access to the outdoor patio. There's a full bath with a tub/shower combo across the hall. A second bedroom down the hall is great for kids - with a twin bunk bed, and two separate twin beds (four total, with new mattresses added in Sept 2025), as well as an attached nook with a double futon and a sliding glass door for access outside. Upstairs you'll find the primary bedroom with a queen bed, an armchair for lounging, a full private bath with dual sinks and standalone shower, and access to a balcony. There is a laundry room with washer/dryer, and WiFi is provided for your convenience. The fenced-in backyard is spacious - great for your dog if you choose to bring one, though be sure to keep an eye on him or tie up for extra precaution (please note the 40-pound weight limit and a small nightly fee). You'll also enjoy a deck, a charcoal grill for barbecuing, and an outdoor firepit for roasting s'mores and enjoying quiet nights. This house is perfect for a retreat or a large family - walk a block and a half to the beach, where you can build sandcastles, fly kites, comb for seashells, or surf if you're feeling ambitious. Walk to the south end of the beach for a picturesque view at Cockcroft Sanddollar Point, and bring the beach chairs to wait for the sun to set into the calming waters of the Pacific. Half a mile north from the house is Gearhart Golf Links, where you can play a full round of 18 holes with stunning views of the nearby coastal mountains. Enjoy a coffee and pastry at Pacific Way Bakery and Café, or head less than a mile south along Highway 101 for more options in Seaside. Along Broadway Street in Seaside you'll find a wide selection of cafés and eateries, and plenty more entertainment, including an arcade, carousel, fun shops, mini-golf, and amusement rides. Walk along the waterfront to find the Seaside Aquarium to learn about the local marine life and even feed the seals!
