We arrived and it felt like a fairy tale. The creek outside below is amazing and easy to get down to. The home is beautifully decorated and every item is a feast for the eyes. The kitchen is really well stocked with almost every dish or item one needs to cook or bake. I spent most of our trip wishing we had more wash rags and on the last day found many more downstairs. My biggest complaint, which isn't a deal breaker, but I think needs addressed is the hot tub. A hot tub was our biggest requirement in booking this location and unfortunately it is a very old one. The water was yellow despite having instructions for adding chemicals, and the surfaces one sits on were all cracked. It needs to be replaced badly. We also had a mouse pop out of the baseboard, but fortunately there were traps under the kitchen sink and we were able to catch it. We didn't have to do this ourselves though, I did reach out and someone responded asking if we wanted them to come trap it, but we had already taken care of the problem. That being said, the mouse was truly not a problem and there were never any droppings anywhere. They keep this place super clean and we would be thrilled to come back. It is in the forest so pests make sense to me and honestly they don't bother me at all as long as the home is kept clean. Overall, this will be a go to on our list for vacation rentals for as long as it's available. We had a really great time.
It was awesome to be able to be by a river/creek an hear it
This was a great choice for our families as there was plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 kids. Loved the separation of space for the kids to play and quiet space for the grownups.
Great home tucked right next to the River. The sound of water from the hot tub was the ultimate in relaxation after a long day hiking. Highly recommend
This cabin is beautifully decorated. The main living space and bedrooms are on the second floor. If you have heavy luggage it is a challenge with so many steps. It is a spacious and comfortable cabin. We had problems with the TV and dryer. Vacasa responded quickly and sent a service manager. Items mentioned on the immensities list but weren’t in the cabin were quickly supplied by Vacasa. It is a beautiful location and was very quiet.
