Well apportioned large home in beautiful Sisters. Well stocked kitchen, hot tub was great and comfortable furnishings.
The house was in a great location, and perfectly sized for our group of 10. Large back yard perfect for yard games. Clean and very well stocked. Will definitely keep this place in mind for future group trips.
This house is huge. It’s very dated with some upgrades, mostly in the kitchen. We enjoyed dinner on the large deck every night. The expanse of green lawn was gorgeous. We enjoyed the hot tub as well. There were Plenty of towels for that. There are some things that weren’t so great. The house smelled strongly of dog when we first walked in. Two in our party felt they needed to change their sheets before they slept in the beds due to the hair on the sheets and pillowcases. There were also several fake fingernails on the floor indicating that it had not been vacuumed. There was a layer of dust on several flat surfaces in the bedrooms. There’s an accumulation of dead bugs and cobwebs on the window sills. Since they were dead, they didn’t bother us. The house has two living areas, one with a piano. One with a large TV The table in the kitchen is great, wooden and kind of rustic looking. The kitchen was pretty well stocked. It was lacking a good cheese grater but there was a good variety of pots and pans. We cooked breakfast and dinner there every day. There’s probably enough dishes for fifty people. The bedrooms are very roomy and easily accommodated our group of 11. In spite of the cons, we all felt the house was a good value. Don’t leave your shoes on the front porch. The sprinklers come on during the night and your shoes will end up soaked! We were unhappy with how ineffective and dismissive Vacasas responses were when we mentioned our concerns regarding a general lack of cleanliness even though they messaged and asked how everything was. It may not seem like it from my review, but if we were in the Sisters area again, we would stay here. It’s close enough to town. It’s in a neighborhood on the golf course with quite a few newer homes. We saw bunnies, deer and little frogs. Our family made some lasting memories here.
The house was great. Need to do deeper cleans between guests.
Great place to stay
This house was so amazing! We had 11 family members and there was plenty of room for our large family! Offering a late check out at 2pm was amazing as we were able to help clean the place up much more than checking out at 10am! The house was very well cleaned upon arrival and very well stocked, I brought extra paper towels, toilet paper and kitchen utensils that were not needed! The check out chores were so minimal that I actually feel like a was on vacation! Our family will be booking this house again! Thank you for a wonderful family weekend!
