Large Dog-Friendly Duplex with Lovely Interior + Free WiFi, Private Washer/Dryer is described as a spacious, comfortable, and great-value retreat that works especially well for families and groups. Guests consistently praised the roomy living areas, open layout, large kitchen, comfortable beds, and welcoming interior that made it easy to relax, cook, dine, and spend time together. The property was repeatedly noted as very clean, bright, cozy, and well-appointed, with everything needed for an easy stay. Its location was highly appreciated for being close to the lake, hiking trails, tramway, restaurants, shops, and other local activities, while still feeling peaceful and surrounded by nature. Guests especially loved the beautiful wooded setting, quiet atmosphere, covered porch and deck, and frequent deer and other wildlife visible right outside the windows. Visitors also appreciated features such as the jetted tub, fireplace, board games, good internet, and washer and dryer, and many said they would gladly return.

Overview

Echo Lake (Upper) is located at the resort side of Wallowa Lake! You'll be just a short walk from Vali's Alpine Restaurant, and you can always adventure up Mt. Howard by taking the Wallowa Lake Tramway! This suite is the perfect place for you to spend your time enjoying all the activities of Wallowa Lake with friends and family. This top level of the home has a large open floorplan in the living room and dining area. Large windows look out onto the covered porch that butts up next to a large tree-lined lot that the deer like to wander in. The living room has a gas fireplace, large windows, and additional sleeping via the queen-size sofa bed. The primary bedroom has a king-size bed and the second bedroom has a queen. The first bathroom has a shower and the other bathroom has a jacuzzi tub. Guests appreciate the home's hardwood floors as well as the private washer/dryer. THINGS TO KNOW Seasonal bbqs are available from Memorial Day thru Labor Day. BBQs are propane and tanks are provided. We strongly encourage you to review your tank level in the morning and if a replacement is needed please reach out to your local contact for a tank replacement. Guests must climb a flight of stairs to access this home. No fires or fire pits are ever allowed due to the heavy timbered area and county restrictions.

Nice house and great location close to stables, tram, and other activities. We stayed in the upper unit which had a nice covered deck. Loved the large living room. Very comfortable space for 5 adults.

This house has an awesome location and plenty of space for evening gatherings of additional friends and family that stop by for visits. The exterior deck allows additional seating and views of the wildlife. The kitchen is very cook friendly with lots of counter space. The beds are comfortable and the shower is large and the jetted tub was a treat. The water pressure of both was top notch. Loads of seating in the living area made this home very enjoyable. This is my second time booking this house and I will definitely be back again next year. Loved it!
