Loved the comfort, the special amenities! Very nice, comfortable place. Thank you
The view of the surrounding ponderosa pines and firs through the multiple picture windows was beautiful - very quiet and calming environment. The home itself was extremely comfortable, well equipped, super clean and well organized, comfortable beds, plenty of hot water for two of us and our older dog. Nice outdoor table and chairs on the deck. Have patience with the digital door lock - code must be entered quickly:) We would definitely return and recommend. Seems like it would be good for a large group as long as some people are able to negotiate a spiral staircase to the loft sleeping area and second bathroom.
What a great cabin. Everything was so clean and ready for guests before we arrived. The deck was perfect for enjoying the views of mountains, deer, beautiful bluejays and squirrels. The dogs loved it. And so nice and quiet. It’s a close easy walk to the state park, lake and tramway. And the bed was so comfortable. Everything you could want was available in the kitchen, so we made some awesome meals. This is definitely the place to rent if you are looking for an enjoyable, relaxing stay.
The kitchen had plenty of utensils pots and pans, silverware, coffee pot cookware. I didn’t have to bring anything with me however I did not know it had all that and I brought some stuff with me anyway however, I think I may have left some stuff.
We enjoyed both the location and the cabin itself. The large windows and the deck are a nice plus. Our experience could have been better if 1)The entry code mechanism worked better. We had to try 8 times to get the door to unlock when we arrived and had varying success after that. After contacting Vacasa we used the key. 2) The dishwasher was hard to start. Both times we used it we had to push the start button several times. 3) It would have been good to have instructions about how to use the mini split. In fact, the instructions on the sheet of welcome information was very sketchy. Is fire wood provided? Is it OK to have a fire if there is a burn ban? Is there a recycle bin? There is mention of a washer and dryer. Where is it and is it OK to use it?
Cabin in the Pines was nice, clean and close to Wallowa Lake. Easy to find and a fun cabin to stay at. We saw a lot of animals and love the big windows in the living room.
