We hosted our annual ladies trip. 12 women and it never once felt crowded. We crafted on the picnic tables, napped in the grass, read on a bench by the ocean, played piano, used 6 burners at once to cook incredible food and eat together at the huge table. The fireplace was perfect and easy to use. We set up a sewing machine by the window and even had a photo shoot on the stairs. All in all it was incredible, we'll be back for sure.
Lots of room for a big group!
The lodge is beautiful and cozy. The orange shag carpet was so fabulous! Plenty of beds for all guests. The lodge is so well equipped. We enjoyed our time inside watching to stormy day.
We love the space, the setting and memories we have here. Our group has been using the Lodge for a NY gathering for 15 years. Unfortunately, the home is not well cared for anymore. Unfortunately, the ovens don't work correctly (thermostat does not represent heat of oven), the main bathroom on the main floor required plunging almost every use, given the size of the house there are not enough glasses, we found some dirty dishes.
Loved all the games
Staying in this home is like stepping back in time, but not in a bad way. It's like staying in your grandfather's giant home surrounded by warmth and non pretentious beauty. Plenty of room to be away from those staying with you, and plenty of room to gather. We have stayed here many times and the past dozen years, and we'll continue to do so.
