Located just up the hill from the Rogue River and the Pacific Ocean, this home is the perfect place for anyone who wants peace, privacy, and great views of the water. The home features a private bedroom separate from the main living area that offers its own access to the deck. Guests can enjoy the use of a full kitchen, a gas grill perfect for cooking up fish, and a comfortable living area that also provides access to the deck. In addition to the beach itself, Gold Beach is a fun town with lots of great things to see and do. Guests can enjoying fresh seafood at local restaurants and a pint at Gold Beach Brewing Company (less than a half mile from the home). There are several interesting shops and boutiques, as well as museums to help you learn about some of the area's local history. Otter Point State Recreation Center (with its spectacular sandstone formations) is just three-and-a-half miles away. THINGS TO KNOW This home is not suitable for children due to deep ravine in front of home. This particular homeowner strongly prefers to keep an anti-allergen home for those who are allergic to animals, as the owners are allergic. Bringing any type of animal into this home should be avoided if at all possible. We kindly request that you please consider choosing one of our other homes that already allow pets. We really appreciate your consideration in this matter.

Love the view! Great location, very comfortable for 2, had everything we needed!

2 nights of a very positive experience :-) This home is very clean, well decorated & well stocked. Got our wheels turning about our own vacation home someday. Outdoor & deck seating was perfect for our needs. We enjoyed the view(s) of Rogue River + Ocean. Pretty sunsets. Relaxing getting sleep & nap (bedroom) apart from the main house. Only experienced 2 challenges. 1. navigating the front driveway with what appeared to be neighbors blocking level parking along the street. Challenge to park, unload & load if having ambulation issues or a large vehicle/trailer (which we do not.) 2. bathroom a distance from the bedroom. This being shared, Owners have done a lot of quality work clearing & improving the property for guests. Thank you...we hope to stay again. ~Prima & Steve

A very restful home. Quiet, lovely views, relaxing space. Several comfy spots to perch. Close to restaurants and sites but also far enough up the hill to feel separate. Some road noise from 101. We would love to return!

Upon pulling up, we realized our truck with raft trailer would not fit in the driveway. We were told by the very friendly neighbors that there was a bigger gravel side lot right next to the opposite end of the house, right next to the bedroom. We pulled in to it and started hearing a woman literally yelling “you can’t park there!” over and over….and over. She was on her Ring camera microphone. She then said we were trespassing. I explained we were renting the place, she then said that spot was signed with “no parking “…..there was no sign, which I pointed out. She then said that spot wasn’t included in the rental and was built on unstable land. The house was on this same piece of land. 🤔 At the end of the day, all of that could have been handled so much more appropriately, professionally and KINDLY. This interaction shook us so badly and we had to try not to let it ruin our trip. Thankfully all the neighbors were kind and helpful….and they all confirmed that the homeowner was a very nasty person to deal with. So despite the house being wonderful, I would not recommend it and would not stay there again because of this incident.
