Make your way to the plethora of state parks along the coastline and hike along the bluffs for breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. There is a bee hive somewhere under or near the back deck. My family was swarmed and stung several times when we tried to use it. I called Vacassa and asked if the could send an exterminator. The agent said they would message the owner. No exterminator came during our stay, and we never got a follow up call. This issue prevented us from using the back deck and fire pit. It is also a major safety issue.

This is more of a cabin kind of feel. Centrally located to State Park and beaches with a short drive. I recommend the owner get an exterminator wasp/yellow jackets every person in our party got stung.

The basic cleaning was good. Counters oven bathroom, tables center of floors etc. But it could use a real cleaning sometime soon. The couch had all kids of stuff in under it between the sections. Not just crumbs but months and months worth of collected yuck. This goes for under and around all furniture and up against walls, vents etc. cob webs from windows and ceilings dusting that kind of cleaning. The pots and pans provided are unfortunately all teflon and scratched up also rusted forks and knives in the drawers so we didn’t feel safe using them. The house does not have AC which was fine but only bedroom windows opened with screens. The back door is big but had no screen and no fans In The house to get airflow in the main living areas. The neighbors have chickens who free range there every morning which definitely amused the kids. Aside from the couple things listed above the house was in a quiet area and mostly comfortable WiFi worked fine, plenty of hot water. We had 7 people in our group and the bathroom was sufficient for all of us.
