This house was great for a winter getaway. Close to cross country skiing (and downhill skiing, for those who do it). The brewery and coffee shop in town are real gems. The brewery specifically is very charming. The house itself is comfortable, though I think could be made more cozy with more/different furnishings and warmer lighting. Those are very small complaints though -- otherwise, the place is perfect!
The details to the old home and care and cleanliness were spot on.
Property is right in Parkdale. Brewery, food, coffee just steps away. As I did not use the hot tub or wood stove, i imagine they would be perfect for a winter stay. House was clean and simple but tastefully decorated with comfy seating and beds. It was a great 4 day stay and close to Hood River, Mt Hood Meadows, hiking, the River, and Rt 84 with Portland an Hour away. I would not hesitate to rent again!
The location is great - views of Mt. Hood out the back, and right on the Main Street of the very small and charming town of Parkdale. The house was comfortable and welcoming with a large kitchen. It is important to know that the stairs to the bedroom are fairly narrow, and there is no door separating the two upstairs beds.
Just a wonderful retreat from the business of life! Very cute home!
Pictures do not do this place justice. Very spacious private home with all the amenities you may need. Across the street is a great breakfast spot and the home is two doors down from a nice brewery. The views! Unbelievable with a great working hot tub. Worth every penny!
