The peaceful setting and relaxing outdoor spaces were especially appreciated, with a hot tub and fireplace creating a welcoming place to unwind. Hood, you will enjoy easy access across the street to trails along the Sandy River and Government Camp (16 miles) for skiing and mountain climbing. Hiking enthusiasts will find unlimited opportunities in Mt. Hood National Forest. Those who like mountain biking can find the Sandy Ridge Trail System and the popular Pioneer Bridle Trail nearby. Skiers should definitely stop by Skibowl, Timberline, and Mt. Hood Meadows. When you book this charming escapade, you are also granted access to Timberline Rim's on-site amenities, including a seasonal outdoor pool, and tennis and basketball courts. As for outdoor living and entertainment, this home offers unlimited options. The home boasts a large, wrap-around covered porch that overlooks the covered BBQ area as well as the renowned 'Outdoor Lounge'. This Outdoor Lounge has been noted in both Sunset and Portland Monthly magazines - it boasts a gas firepit and a comfortable living area where you all can spread out comfortably and create everlasting memories. When it comes to indoor living, you will discover a welcoming open floor plan that will be the center of all entertainment. The spacious family room enjoys a gas fireplace to cozy up to on a winter day and play entertaining card or board games. The separate rec room boasts a 55-inch Samsung QLED TV to stream your favorite movies and shows. Prepare culinary masterpieces in the well-appointed kitchen, which has been updated with granite counters and features all stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar. The spacious primary suite boasts high ceilings and two walk-in closets. Additional perks include tennis and pickleball rackets and a washer/dryer. The house itself was fine. The hot tub was nice, the deck was lovely. The beds weren’t the most comfortable in the world, but they weren’t awful. The TV is mounted comically high (painful to watch a movie craning your neck that way). It’s not nearly as private as it looks in photos; there are houses *very* close to you on every single side, you will hear people having conversations in their yards next to you, and folks regularly walked their dogs by the house/around the corner (so past the front windows and the back), which made our dog bark quite a bit. That was a bummer. It’s not fenced at all, so just be aware that your dog will need to be leashed at all times. There was also an outdoor cat who came and visited us regularly, which might sound cute, but my dog wasn’t into it (and I wasn’t in to finding what I assume to be random piles of cat poo in the backyard). Avari was also very difficult to work with before checking in; there was an extreme fire and air quality concern (that thankfully improved by our check-in time) and they were initially completely dismissive, gave me AI/boilerplate responses, promised to call them never did, then just completely stopped responding to my requests entirely. Very disappointed in my experience with them after many years of great experiences with Vacasa. I will definitely not be renting any Avari properties again.

There are several amenities, something for everyone and whatever weather. They thought of everything. Great for hosting large gatherings. Spacious seating and several small nooks to tuck away into....It was lovely.

Beautiful home for a small family. Nice and relaxing backyard with hot tub and sitting area with fireplace. Surrounded by many houses in that neighborhood but it didn’t bother us. Timberline is about 30 mins drive.

This was a fantastic home!! My husband and I along with my daughter and her husband and their two children had a very nice stay. We hated to see our trip come to an end! The beds were nice and comfortable, however, the first night my daughter found a spider in their bed but that just happens sometimes. The hot tub and jetted tub were great to relax in. Nice quiet neighborhood.
