Fantastic spot. Will come again.
We have stayed in the house several times and like it. It meets all our needs. It is comfortable and clean. Oven door needs to be fixed. It does not stay closed and the heat escapes and makes the top of the stove very hot. With this recent stay I have some concerns about the erosion of the bluff. The deck footings seem precariously close to the edge and there appears to have been some shifting of the deck.
This was a beautiful home! I wish I would've been able to stay longer and enjoy it. We showed up late and had to leave the next morning. I will be choosing this house in the near future. Only complaints would be the heating system and shower head.
The view is spectacular and the beds comfy. The ammenities were good for the most part but the washer was broken while we were there and the customer service non existent.
House was even better than we expected. Front deck was nice for sitting outside. Excellent ocean views. Watched the crab boats head out for the beginning of the crabbing season. House was comfortable and cozy.
If you are wanting to be up front with the full ocean experience of watching the ocean, sunrises, and sunsets, this is the place for you. Excellent seating area out front, also. The walk down to the beach is posted in the house - an easy path through the neighborhood and almost down to the beach. There are two choices and if neither looks good, there's a picnic table and bench to watch the ocean from. Be sure to look at the local tides table, as the beach isn't accessible during some high tides. The furniture was comfy. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, except there was no cooking oil. The one small wall heater in the hall heated up the whole house nicely, once you had turned it on and been there for a while. (I was there in late October.) The sign at the door says no shoes inside, so bring slippers or indoor shoes. Like other reviewers, I would have liked that the curtain rods to close the blinds were fixed. Also, the bright lights in the ceiling lights were annoying. Would have liked lamps on end tables for ambience and reading. Again, I was there in October when the dark hours are longer than in the summer. A very nice place to stay. If you are into new, fancy and modern, you might look for a different place. This place is older and comfy, buthe appliances are all new. Vacasa gives only one washer/dryer packet, so plan for that if you intend to wash clothes. I would definitely book this place again.
