The key disappointing things about this property: - No A/C. The owner's note says to open the windows. Without a breeze, the top floor hit a stuffy 75 degrees F. - The hot tub didn't heat higher than 91 degrees. - The grill isn't propane or charcoal; it burns wood as far as we could tell. Not knowing this in advance, we weren't able to use it. There is a partial water view, but we could barely see it through the dirty windows. The window treatments were covered in dust; the whole place would benefit from a deep cleaning. The house has a great layout for families, plus the street is quiet given its proximity to the neighborhood shops and restaurants. It simply seems like no one is paying attention to the upkeep, and the amenities did not deliver as advertised.

Great location. But: The hot tub only has one set of working jets out of four. The grill isn't gas--requires charcoal not supplied. Not a box of Kleenex in the entire house. Blender not there on arrival. Sparse bedroom furniture (no dresser in one). Only one of four bedrooms has a tv. No coffee pods. No recycle container. Windows exterior filthy. Both bathrooms need a deep cleaning. Given the rate per night, this house was sorely lacking and a big disappointment. The listing is misleading. Not nearly up to standards of other VRBOs we've rented.

We had a very fun time at Fairhaven. Very comfortable house with small back yard where we had BBQ. Short walk to beach. Nye Beach is a lovely area with attractive shops and restaurants.

We had a wonderful time! The home was delightful- right next to the beach and a playground, which we used often. We also walked to the sweet downtown area and Nana’s pub a couple of times. We had a picnic in the back porch and it was warm and quiet. The last couple of days it was rainy, so we spent time together in the cozy living area. It has light coming in every side, we all loved being there together. The beds were comfy too. Thank you!
