Classic woodland home with gorgeous setting, great deck - 2 dogs OK

The setting--surrounded by forest but a 5-min walk to stunning coastal views--was incomparable. Having not-just-adequate but ample, wonderful space for everyone (four bathrooms! Two kitchens!) , makes this place one-of-a- kind. And thoughtful comforts everywhere: pillows, blankets, even dog towels! Books, games, DVDs, VHSs, kitchens completely stocked. Also appreciated the communication--adequate for what was needed, but not a lengthy list of do's and don'ts. Especially appreciated the simple checkout process! We had such a special time. We were two families with teenagers, and the layout, with two "living room" areas, one upstairs and one downstairs by the pool table, was ideal. When the teens wanted to retreat, they just went downstairs. There are also a ton of bathrooms, basically one per bedroom, so people can really spread out and you don't feel like you are living on top of one another. Great DVD and VHS collection. We watched Run Lola Run. Pool table was a big hit. Record player was sadly out of commission for our visit. You totally can walk into Manzanita from the house but it is not a super straightforward walk. You sort of wend your way though subdivisions. On the other hand, there's a trailhead very close walking distance to the house and it is a great trail for a family outing with a payoff view. Note that it you bring a dog there is a fee for that. All in all we were extremely satisfied with this place. It has a ton of charm and personality. Good vibes!

It's kind of unique property where you can experience a cliff house and also you get feeling like a tree house. It's a great choice for family vacations.

Felt like we were in a tree. Loved that all four bedrooms had a bathroom (attached or right next to) Tge pool table was really fun and the living room was a roomy hangout for all.

This was the perfect getaway for a group of 8 adults for each couple to have their own bathroom. The two kitchens actually came in very handy. The surrounding area is so peaceful. There is a path 20-25 minutes walking to the beach. It’s close to both cannon beach and Manzanita. The pool table was super fun and they have all kinds of games, tvs and movies. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved this huge "treehouse"! Perfect location within walking distance to the beautiful beach. Close enough to town but still felt very much in nature. We traveled with another family, and the layout was ideal- everyone had their own bedroom & bathroom, and kitchen too! The pool table was a bonus. We really felt right at home, and would love to stay here again on day.
