Lakefront on Lake Shore

Loved the location on the lake. The quality of the home was great. Fully stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds. Great deck to enjoy the views. Just needs comfortable deck furniture. A tv would be nice to stream movies.

Spacious home with modern kitchen

The home looks nice, but there were several issues that we had with it that affected our ability to enjoy it. There is very little furniture in the living room, just one couch and one chair. There is also a random, wooden bench seat made from a wagon wheel that just takes up space. No one could use it because it is so uncomfortable! More for decoration. Given that there is no kitchen table, there really needs to be more living room sitting! There is also no seating besides a picnic table out on the back deck. We would have appreciated having some chairs and/or lounge chairs present. We could not sit outside and enjoy the lakeview because sitting on a hard picnic bench is not relaxing. There is no TV in the house, which seems so odd. In the evening after the sunset, we wanted to have a movie night, but not possible here. There was also some cleanliness issues, such as hair in the beds, tons of hairs and crumbs in the empty bathroom drawers, dustbunnies, etc. And finally, the biggest issue we had, was the huge CARPENTER ANT problem both downstairs and upstairs. After reading through other reviews, I see that this is not a new issue. It is very frustrating that they were aware of it and haven't had an exterminator out to take care of them. It is very hard to enjoy yourself when large, biting carpenter ants are crawling around and climbing up things. My kids were afraid to walk around because of it. With all this said, our relaxing vacation was not nearly relaxing as it should have been, and we definitely cannot recommend staying here because of it.

Me and my girlfriends had a great time. We were a little bummed out that the activities that we planned were cancelled due to weather but because of the great location and great views that this rental has made up for it.

What a gorgeous view to wake up to each morning! We enjoyed each day at this beautiful lake home. We had access to the lake from a private dock which we used to swim and paddle board from. I would note that if you have trouble with stairs (or just a lot of stuff!) you do have to go up and down quite a few of them between the parking area and the home.

The location was good but there was an any infestation that was known about prior to our visit but nothing was done about it. We tried to be okay with it until there were ants crawling up our legs while using the toilet so we let Vacasa know. They dropped off some ant spray and acted like we were being unreasonable that we didn't want ants crawling on us in the bathroom and bedroom or crawling all over the food in the kitchen. I'm just really disappointed, it could have been handled way better.
