This single-story cabin sits up in the treetops, just across the Oregon Coast Highway and up the hill from Whaleshead Beach. It's located in the heart of the Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor - a place to hike the Oregon Coast Trail, explore secluded beaches, and go for long, scenic drives. upon arrival the main cabin smelled of mold, while the studio had an extremely strong bleach smell (needed to be aired out for 2+ hours) the studio was amazing for having 2 couples separate. however the water in the studio bathroom would NOT get warm. the hottub was cold upon arrival and the water was a bit gross looking, didn't request support for it but was definitely disappointing. there was no shoe signs everywhere inside the main cabin but tree needles everywhere (including inside) upon arrival. the oven took way too long to heat up, wasted food because of it. there was pictures of what i can only assume is the owner's family & friends everywhere in the main bedroom. made us a bit uncomfortable so we put them away during our stay. overall we were able to make the stay enjoyable. but this place has some problems. definitely needs some work before people continue staying in it.
Peaceful and quaint. Nice little retreat at the coast. I especially liked the separate sleeping annex and bathroom. Great getaway for friends.
We had a great time relaxing on our staycation. With the Ocean right around the corner and tucked in beside a creek in the woods we were able to reset and enjoy our quick moment away from the hustle and bustle of life.
It was very quiet with great view of the creek. Had a treehouse feel to it. Will stay again!
The cabin was peaceful and clean. The hot tub was unusable, despite our attempts to contact Vacasa for help. We were told multiple times that we would be contacted back by the local management, and we got no call. No one contacted us after our stay to discuss this either. This was disappointing as we chose this cabin specifically for the hot tub, and we were getting engaged on this trip. I wanted it to be perfect so we’re very disappointed with this. To have an amenity listed that is unusable is disappointing, and to not even have any one contact us during our stay about this was also upsetting.
This house sits in the trees and ferns surrounding the decks, the huge windows provide a peaceful feel.
