Soak up the spectacular 180-degree view where the Pacific Ocean meets the Alsea Bay and bridge as you slip into the coastal mindset here in Waldport! In addition to the water views, an abundance of wildlife will accompany you on this vacation, so bring your own binoculars (BYOB) and look closely! You may see seals, bald eagles (varying ages) in trees, osprey, herons, seagulls, cormorants, vultures, and pigeon guillemots. After fun days of exploring the local shops in town or walking along the sand nearby, kick back in the living room as the chef of the group whips up something tasty in the full kitchen. Had a very homey feeling. Every single past review is spot on. We saw a pair of 2 bald eagles, different species of birds, and seals almost every morning. Bring binoculars if you have them. Great location with tall trees where the brackish water meets. Very Few minor complaints, but nothing too crazy. Every space in this home had its own working heater that worked insanely fast. Hiltop cafe near by was delicious and walking distance - we ate seafood there every day. We would definitely stay here again!!

We loved the site. We watched the birds and boats all day long. A bald eagle perched in the tree in front of the livingroom window! The house was off the highway and very quiet. It has very comfortable beds and enough room for a large group or several couples. It is also walking distance to the Hilltop Restaurant. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances.

We had a wonderful stay. More like a “cabin” than a home; very comfortable. Clean and adequate. Small kitchen was furnished nicely. A tremendous view of the bay. Excellent parking for 2 vehicles. Quiet neighborhood. We’ll be back!

Roomy rental with space enough to sleep eight. Four of us stayed for 2 nights and there was plenty of space to spend time together or get some alone time. The beds were fairly comfortable, the home itself has some wear and tear, but that did not bother us too much, since the price was reasonable. It is located near a bistro that has good food (highly recommend the Seafood Pasta!), and is a short walk from downtown Waldport.
