If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful, beach-focused vacation, this house is perfect for you! Located about midway between Waldport and Yachats, just north of the Tillicum Beach neighborhood, you can walk across the highway to find beach access or hop in the car and drive south to Tillicum Beach Campground or north to the Beachside wayside. This stretch of sand is particularly uncrowded and amazing for beachcombing.

From the driveway, there's a paved walkway and all-weather expanded steel ramp right to the deck and master suite addition. This bedroom features a vaulted wood beamed ceiling, peek-a-boo views of the ocean, and a TV. Spend the night surfing cable channels while you stay nice and cozy under the covers. This spacious bedroom also opens onto a wrap-around deck through a wide, wheelchair accessible door.

The handicap bathroom features a roll-in shower with an adjustable hand-held shower head, folding bench seat, and heavy-duty grab bars. The vanity is open on the front to allow a wheelchair to roll under and the toilet features a raised seat to provide easy transition to and from a wheelchair. Heavy duty grab bars are positioned throughout the bathroom, and the space includes the ADA-recommended turning radius.

The entire lower level, including the master suite, has beautiful maple hardwood floors that have a low-friction surface for wheels. There are also a number of beautiful throw rugs for pops of color and style. In the living room, everyone can find a spot for a movie night on the comfortable sofas - there's a 51-inch smart plasma TV with Netflix and a surround sound receiver, cable, and a DVD player.

Also part of this open downstairs floor plan is the full kitchen and dining area. Between the dining room table and the kitchen's breakfast bar, you'll have seating for eight when it's time to enjoy a meal. And in the kitchen, you'll have everything you need to prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Aside from all of the major appliances, there's also a blender, mixer, waffle iron, and a coffee grinder. There's even a peek of an ocean view. Or you can head out to the deck and use the large gas grill for a summer barbecue.

The second bedroom is on the upper level. This room also has a queen bed, and there is a full bathroom in the hallway. The upstairs loft has two twin platform beds and is suitable for children five years and older (it's accessible by a small ladder). Also on this upper level is a second living area with a desk and a queen sofabed. This home will sleep up to eight guests (six adults). Here, you don't need to leave anyone at home - up to two canine family members are also welcome here with a small nightly fee!

Other amenities at this Oregon Coast vacation rental include a fully fenced yard for kids and dogs to play, WiFi, a washer and dryer, partial air conditioning, and a generator just in case the power goes out! There's also a wood-burning fireplace to keep the home all nice and cozy on chilly coast nights.

Once down on the beach you can go on walks with the dog, fly kites, hunt for rocks and shells, or just relax on a big, striped beach towel. If you feel like a road trip, there's the tide pools at Seal Rock, or just 20 miles north, the Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport. If you're up for a day trip to Newport, you'll find plenty to keep everyone busy. The bustling town offers antique shops, galleries, plenty of restaurants, fantastic beach access points, a marina, and much more.

Just four-and-a-half miles to the south, the small and charming town of Yachats offers a few galleries, shops, and restaurants. And downtown Waldport, five miles to the north, has additional restaurants including local favorites Carol's Cafe and the Flounder Inn Tavern. On days you don't feel like preparing a meal in your home's kitchen, you'll definitely have a lot of options, whether you head north or south.
