Location was fantastic! Game room is fun. Couches are old and uncomfortable

It’s a very beautiful house. You can tell once upon a time it was such an elegant place. We did however run into a lot of little things that made the place unfortunately, a home we won’t visit again. We decided to write the pros and cons in hopes that it helps in your future booking. PROS: Very spacious and decorated very nicely. There’s 4 bedrooms, 5 with the bed in the office area. Lots and LOTS of space. Has 3 living rooms/hangout areas The kitchen is very spacious and the double stove is such a plus. The VIEWS are amazing! Gated entry so private driveway/parking CONS Needs a lot of up-keeping- TLC needed bad Kind of old and dirty- especially all windows inside and out The shingles from roof are falling off Several of the bathrooms do NOT lock Broken bed in office room Outlets that don’t work No garage access Mold/leaks in dinning room by skylight area No up keep of shrubs to get access by river. Broken dumbwaiter Not a lot of hot water

The location was perfect the home was a mess. There was no hot water, the heat didn’t work in half of the home, the fireplaces didn’t work, the stove top was broken, the furniture was dirty and broken, none of the tv remotes worked therefore the tvs were unusable and the entrance gate malfunctioned trapping is on property for a full day until we had to take into our own hands manually releasing the gate because local support refused to come help when requested everyday of our stay. After researching this property I noticed that many of my complaints had been complained about for over a year plus. Therefore this property is not being rented in good faith. I was cheated and Vacasa refuses to address my issues or refund more than 225.00 out of a 3000.00 four day rental. 225.00 hardly compensated for being trapped on the property while my children had to walk from the bay front back because I could not pick them up. So many issues with this home and management company I can’t even list them all!

We loved the size, the funky art, the pool table and the sauna and we want to come back with friends. The three stars have to do with a variety of issues in the master bed/bath (no heat, shower, tub jets did not work); these would normally be deal breakers - but we had a great time here regardless.
