Could not watch Tv there was no remote for the Roku. Deck was falling apart and the hot tub was broken.

y family and I were in the U section of the resort at Sea Wolf cabin. Our stay was mostly pleasant but our cabin needs attention and the outside needs attention to the landscaping. We live in another state in a rural resort that has similar rustic charm and environment as Whaleshead Beach resort which we appreciated. The view of the Pacific coastline and surrounding timber from the deck was breathtaking. Engaging with Vacasa staff was pleasant but communication on certain things could be improved. Both of the outside trash bins were full and recycling was just thrown on the ground, not an impressive sight when pulling in. The staff had someone come out to collect it but whomever it was to collect it did not empty the 2nd one or forgot to do that, or didn't look in it to see it was full. There was hair and crumbs in the fridge and it was haphazardly cleaned and poorly. I scrubbed the shelves that I used. The dining table needed cleaning as well, and which I did. Kitchen countertops as well needed cleaning and I did that and the outside of the fridge. The coffee pot was scrubbed inside and out as well as the glass pot, to there were coffee stains in the pot. The master bedroom's bathroom was not really clean and the toilet seat, well, that needed to be cleaned and I also cleaned that, too. All of the fans had a thick later of dust, and that was gross, and no, I want going to clean them. There were no blankets if needed for cooler nights in either of the bedrooms. The deck cushions should've been brought in or at least cleaned and presentable. They were wet and we didn't sit on them. Couch and chair cushion covers in LR needed cleaning. Under the cushions was not clean at all; there was stuff in there. Under the couch and chairs was not swept either. Any rental, home or hotel should not have to be cleaned by a guest and to say that I was unhappy is the absolute truth. When a resort offers cabins they should pass a glove test, and it did not. We paid dear money and to have been told thank you for cleaning and we'll make sure the cabin is clean due the next guests is not something you say to someone, ever. Again, that saving grace for this resort are the views and proximity to the beach area. Unfortunately, we will meet stay here again as this was poor presentation of what I'll assume to be a once beautiful community. And as a realtor in the Midwest, I would have this property show ready as a rental or a listing. Please tell the owners to take care of their property as it could be a hotspot for future guests.

Home with an overall air of neglect. Cushion covers torn and stained, kitchen pots so worn and unusable with nonstick linings badly chipped, we had to buy a pan to make eggs. We like to be able to cook breakfast and fresh meal at home and couldn’t BBQ so rusted and unusable. The deck was worn with uneven boards and nails popping up, not enough towels and no bath mats to keep water off floors, heating smelled dusty when in use on cold evening. Hot tub on messy back deck with cover floating in water and covered with leaves, unsure of sanitation so chose not to use. We were notified just prior to visit that due to a water pipe break we would have no drinkable water.! Vacasa told us that was non refundable reason to cancel. A neighbor said it happens often and they are always provided with plenty of water deliveries for drinking and cooking, we had to pay out of pocket. I would have to say this visit and the water issue will deter me from using Vacasa again. I am not really a complainer usually but for what I paid I was sorely dissatisfied . The view and location were great ! So it has potential with some TLC and a better reaction to water issue with apologies and water delivered would have gone a long way to smooth things over.

Honestly disappointed. Booked this home because it listed a private hot tub. When we arrived, we found boards over the entrance to the hot tub and were a bit confused. I called Vacasa customer service and was told the hot tub wasn’t listed in the amenities so it wasn’t available. I told the customer service gal I was speaking to that seems a bit deceptive seen as the listing clearly says private hot tub, she offered no solutions other than hanging up on me. Once she hung up on me, I was looking at the listing again and saw they added that the hot tub is out of order AFTER we spoke on the phone. Terrible customer service I WILL NOT book with Vacasa again after being treated this way. The house was nice and probably has great owners but my experience with Vacasa was just awful!

We loved the views from all over the house! Watching the fog in the morning was magical and seeing the ocean so often added a relax tone to our entire trip! We would definitely stay here again! The large deck with extra comfy cushions was one of our favorite places to start and finish our days!

I took my teenage daughter and her friends for a birthday weekend. The cabin was perfect for what we were looking for. Close to beaches, comfy and cozy bedrooms, stunning views. Some of the furniture was pretty worn and the grill was unusable, but we LOVED the hot tub after our days of exploring. I would book again.
