The place was absolutely impeccable. From the stunning lake view to the comfy beds to the amenities, we loved everything about it.
Spent three nights here with my parents, and we all loved it. House was very clean and true to photos. There is one king, one full bed attached to a bunk, the other five beds are all twins. House was a perfect size for us, and I really liked that we all got our own bathroom. View was perfect, saw lots of wildlife and fish jumping. Dad and I were able to do some fishing off the dock. Very quiet while we were there. Won’t mind staying again.
The home had a fruit fly infestation that forced us to leave a day early. The flies were especially active at night, concentrated around the lower-level bedroom and living room windows. We also stayed during a hot weekend, and the property does not have central AC—only individual units in each room. On the first day, the AC in the master bedroom tripped the breaker, leaving us without cooling until Vacasa sent someone to fix it. While it was eventually addressed, it was inconvenient and not what I would expect given the nightly rate. For the cost, these types of issues should not occur. Additionally there should be a gental suggestion to stock up on coffee or groceries since the nearest store or coffee shop is 20 minute drive (40 minutes round trip) to enjoy in the morning.
The house was right on the Deschuttes River with a dock. We were able to bring our patio boat to fish. The house view of the river was amazing. Good separate bedrooms.
Large house with natural light and lots of shared space for a large family or friend group. Stocked kitchen for grilling/cooking at home. Relaxing hot tub on deck with river view. Only regret was no access to water gear e.g. kayaks, etc.
The view was beautiful and watching the wildlife from the huge windows was perfect. House was immaculate and well equipped.
