Unfortunately, there was not much to love about this house. The representation online vs reality was definitely disappointing. My friends for whom I rented this house opted not to stay in it even though I had paid for the rental. Fortunately, Vacasa was very helpful with this situation and did their best to make things right. Lastly, there is not a second shower in the house which could also be an issue and should be mentioned in the description of the property.

The fenced yard, lots of amenities

The location was right by the beach and main street. We liked the new cookware and access to streaming for movies. There was a broken lawn chair, a broken bar chairs. The kitchen floor tile had shards breaking off as well as two areas that were jagged along the carpet and in the doorway to one of the bathrooms. Half of the towels were stained or bleached and my pillow case seemed to have blood stains. Theere is only one shower, the other bathroom has a very small bathtub so having 8 people use one shower was not ideal. It is listed to fit 10 people but the rooms are small and not enough seats to watch a movie together or even have all of the loveseats face the TV. It would be better to have the single bunk room replaced with a regular double bed. The window sills need a deep cleaning and repaint, there was black possible mold or mildew on them. We spent a lot of our time out so it was really great to be so close to everything just need a lot of fixing up.

Manzanita is a five star beach, and this house has a prime location. Spinnaker might suitable for a group of six or fewer if they have a big dirty dog, but it is not comfortable for ten. When I consider how much I paid for this house and what we got for it, it makes me angry. The house was not clean enough for us to feel comfortable. It is well past time for new carpet, living and dining room furniture and remodeled bathrooms. We had to ask for enough mugs and bowls for each of us to have our own and a shower curtain that wasn't scummy. We had a good time anyway. That's how wonderful Manzanita is.
