Originally built in the 1930s as a small tavern and slowly expanded, this charming cabin plus loft has everything you need to experience a truly memorable stay with your family and friends! The cabin rooms were once a dance hall - the floors of the cabin rooms are the original floors! You will fall in love with The Logs' location - you are just a couple hundred yards away from the White Salmon River, which means you can walk straight down to the river, or take another path and walk along the White Salmon to BZ Falls. Conveniently located at the base of Mount Hood in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, outdoor enthusiasts will have a blast here! Windsurfing, kiteboarding, hiking, skiing, and kayaking are popular activities in the area. Make sure to explore Hood River (14.5 miles away), which is full of wineries, breweries, and outdoor activities for everyone. Visit the famous Hood River Fruit Loops Art Center (13.5 miles) with over 36 stands featuring apples, pears, wines, antiques, and various other locally grown products. This family-friendly cabin has been built and equipped with all the essentials to provide you with a great spot to create everlasting memories with your loved ones. Spend entertaining evenings at home watching your favorite movies on the TV with a DVD player or hanging out in the community courtyard. The cabin also features a convenient mini-fridge to store your goodies and treats, a microwave to heat them up, and a coffee maker. A desk is also available should you need a place to study or work. The cabin is heated and cooled by a wall AC unit.

THINGS TO KNOW

• There is no kitchen. Only a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker are provided. It is stocked with coffee cups, coffee, coffee creamer, and coffee filters.
• While doing your research, you may see that there was once a restaurant on the property where your unit is. However, it is closed and not listed as an amenity. Your rental offers lodging and no on-site- restaurant, though grocery stores in the area are only a short drive away.
