The city of Manzanita, located less than two miles south, offers more dining and shopping options. Rent a surfboard and head to Short Sands Beach only four and a half miles north and spend your day riding the waves.

We really enjoyed the house. Cozy, comfortable, and perfect for our big group. View of the sea and proximity to the beach was lovely. Management were quick to respond with our questions. Unlike previous reviews, we found the house impeccably clean and the downstairs very pleasant. Downstairs has new carpet and recently remodeled bathroom. It's cooler and damper than the main floor--as one would expect in a daylight basement--but very clean, and cozy once the heat was on.

What we all appreciated was how this house was set up for our group of eight. There were enough bedrooms, enough room at the table and enough cooking and eating utensils. We were delighted that the kitchen was well stocked with cleaning supplies, too. This house is located in a very quiet area and has great access to the beach. Downtown Manzanita is within walking distance, making for a very relaxed stay all around.

We were staying around the corner in a home that we have stayed at for years, but needed some extra sleeping/bath capacity for visiting family and friends. Only two of us ended up staying here, but we really enjoyed the amenities and space. We didn't do any cooking, but wouldn't have hesitated. It is an older cottage, but a recent refresh is very nice, cozy and comfortable. Only a short walk to/from the beach. Yes, you can spend a lot more, and probably get more, but for the price we could not have asked for more. The EV charging was also a big plus. Would rent again.
