Sit down and relax on the sofa and gaze out the sliding glass door at the nearby ocean, or flip on the TV and watch some cable or use the DVD player. You could even turn the electric fireplace on to keep the space extra cozy, then grab one of the books from the shelf and spend an evening reading while snuggled up.

WiFi is available throughout the house, so you will have no trouble keeping up with your emails or looking up the day's tide tables. As many as three people are welcome to stay here, as long as one person is willing to sleep on the cozy sofa in the living room. Because you're so close to the beach, bring the dog and head down to the sand! Drive a few minutes south to Ona Beach and enjoy a picnic lunch, launch a kayak on the creek, or spend an afternoon strolling on the shore and looking for interesting shells. You could also go a couple of miles north to South Beach State Park, which has plenty of parking, easy beach access, walking paths, and a stretch of coastline that leads up to the jetty. Keep heading north on the highway and you'll find yourself in wonderful Newport, which offers a huge variety of activities to please every visitor.

On the south side of town, stop in at the famous Oregon Coast Aquarium and the Hatfield Marine Science Center, then do some antiquing in the area. Around town you will find many fantastic restaurants, plenty of shopping, activities such as golfing, boating on the Yaquina Bay, exploring the Nye Beach area, and much more. The lovely Lincoln City is about 35 minutes north along the highway, and there are many gorgeous viewpoints around the Central Coast, so don't be afraid to set out and spend a day exploring the coastline!
