The quiet and the location.

We were disappointed on the condition of the condo. The comforter on the bed was stained and torn. The shower rod was heavily rusted. The bathroom cabinets were filthy. The faucet in bathroom was missing the aerator. The stove-top and frying pans had caked on grease and food. Upon notification to Vacasa, they replaced the comforter, shower rod and frying pan. After they inspected the faucet, they determined that it needed to be replaced. It was never replaced during our 6-week stay. My husband thoroughly cleaned the stove top and frying pans. I cleaned the bathroom cabinets and replaced the missing bumpers. As we were focused on major issues, we later noticed that there were two light bulbs missing in the bathroom and there were numerous dead bugs in the kitchen light fixture. On a positive note, the condo complex was nice. It is a five-minute drive to the Sabino Canyon National Park. We often hiked the many trails in the park.

The condo is relatively well outfitted if you want to cook your own meals. Sabino Canyon and Mount Lemmon are close if you enjoy biking or hiking. Bashas' grocery store is within walking distance, which is convenient. The location of the condo in the complex is lovely as you get the sun on your balcony to enjoy the afternoon sun. However, this Vacasa property was not as clean as others we have stayed at in Florida and Hilton Head Island. We stayed for 2 months and Vacasa divided our stay into 1-month increments, so we had to sign 2 contracts. We asked if we would have to check out and back in, we were told no this was just administrative on their part. Two days into our 2nd month stay, we found ourselves locked out of our condo, with no prior notice and the Vacasa app had the wrong entry code. We called Vacasa Customer Service, who after several different code attempts could not get us back into the condo. After the failed code attempts, we were given a code to open the lock box for a spare key, however upon opening the lock box it was empty. We were on the phone with Customer Service for over an hour when they decided to contact Tucson Vacasa reps to assist, which resulted in us getting back into our property, within minutes. Tucson Vacasa reps, Dylan and Krista were amazing to deal with both in the air conditioning maintenance and the lock out issue. I would have given this property a 5-star rating, but I couldn't do to the cleanliness and the lock out issue.
