This was our third stay at the Guard House. We so enjoy the comfort and amenities of the house and property, both inside and outside. Close proximity to a large park to enjoy daily walks with our dog, meeting other people in the park, and watching the wildlife. This location is ideal for easy access to the Tucson foothills, east side, and a short trip to the downtown area. Our hosts are very friendly and attentive to make our stays fun and memorable. We look forward to our next stay at the Guard House!
Truly exceptional home with meticulous detail and charm.
From the moment we opened the front door we knew this home was special. The Decor and attention to detail was superb. Customer service was friendly and attentive! ( thanks to Adam ) This home was so comfortable and clean. Close to so many great museums, parks, and restaurants. Meeting Renee and Rene was the icing on the cake. Thanks for a wonderful week❤️
Upon entering the house, we immediately noticed how very clean the rooms are. The entire home really sparkled! All rooms of the home are spacious and well furnished. Furniture in the living room is very comfortable for reading and watching TV, along with ample seating for entertaining. The house is filled with antiques and very homey. Incredible woodwork is found throughout the home! All bedrooms were large with very comfortable beds and plenty of dresser/closet space with creative eclectic decorations. The master bath and second bath were beautiful and well laid out with plenty of room. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing and cooking food, with many pots, pans, cookware, and seasonings- even a coffee bar. The fireplace in the living room, stained glass window, and mural are extraordinary! We enjoyed using the two outdoor patios that look really cool and are nicely laid out. They include chairs, tables, chaise lounge, sun shades, and a gas grill. We also appreciated the spacious and enclosed garage to keep our vehicle parked. Historic Ft. Lowell Park right down the road- has many historic sites, amenities, and a duck pond. Good for bird watching. The landlords are also extremely nice and readily available if we had any questions or needed anything. We so enjoyed our second visit to this property that we've already booked a return visit!
