Space
Great house. Very roomy and comfortable. In a nice, quiet neighborhood but conveniently close to The Strip.
Meet me in Palm Springs is a nice spacious house in a quiet area a few blocks from the beautiful grassy Ruth Hardy park. The park is great for dog walkers and tennis players. The house is spacious with a lovely primary suite on one side -warning though, the suite was designed with an open concept bedroom/bathroom. There is no door to the bathroom area. On the other side of the house is a 2nd living room with a bedroom/bathroom. Great for 2nd couple, in-laws or teenagers. The appliances and furniture are dated and the house in general is in need of some maintenance and updating, but despite that, there's plenty of space to spread out and enjoy. The kitchen was well stocked with everything a renter may need. The yard and pool are lovely - the hammock is in just the right spot. (Note that there is a separate fee to heat the hot tub in addition to the daily pool heating fee. Not a problem, just an added cost to consider.) Nice yard for the dog to run around and just a few blocks to the park.
While this home was aesthetically beautiful, our stay was impacted by significant maintenance issues. One of the guest bathrooms was unusable for two days due to a broken toilet, and the electrical system was highly unstable. We couldn’t use the kitchen microwave or the washing machine without causing power disruptions throughout the house, which persisted for our entire five-day stay. The team was very responsive and helpful during our visit, which we truly appreciated. However, since our departure, I have reached out regarding these concerns and have yet to receive any response. Reliable electricity is a basic expectation for any rental, and I hope the homeowner addresses these issues for future guests.
