The house was clean, staff was helpful getting access to the guard gate, great place for a weekend getaway
Wonderful home in great neighborhood. Very clean, very well furnished. We had a total of three couples and there was more than enough space and, importantly, bath towels, hand towels, and pool towels! The BBQ was sparkling clean and there were two (2!) back-up propane tanks. Finally, although it is a small thing, it is great to stay at a place that not only has washer / dryer but also provides some laundry detergent. Similarly, there was soap of the dishwasher, and kitchen sink and soap, shampoo, etc. in the bathrooms. Nice touches for a great stay!
A cute home with potential to be awesome but it’s pretty neglected. Tall weeds + dead plants all over the backyard, the pool was filthy-definitely hadn’t been cleaned in a while, and the jacuzzi had no water. Good thing we weren’t planning to use it. A floor lamp that was ready to fall over and the worst was food left in the oven from previous renters. The reason I’m giving 3 stars instead of 1 is the property manager was responsive and had the pool company out swiftly. The only other things I’d say is I appreciate them being dog friendly - but there is no grass or turf anywhere in the back yard or front. You’d have to walk down the street to the green belt with the pups which isn’t the worse thing in the world, just be aware if you’re traveling with fur babies.
Leading up to my stay I read the reviews, so I had two concerns. With the $100 price tag per day plus fees and taxes it was important to make sure the pool would be heated upon arrival. I also saw that people had a hard time getting through the guard gate, so I wanted to make sure any drivers would be listed. I tried calling Vacasa about two weeks prior to my stay and wasn't able to reach anyone, it gave me an option to text which I did with my concerns. I basically received a text stating every guest must be registered on the website, which they were but I need to update on the HOA website. I ignored that because I didn't have the sign on credentials. They sent a text about a week before my stay and I responded with my concerns, no reply was received. The Tuesday before my stay they texted me again, again I raised my concern with the pool and the names of the drivers. They stated that there will be an in person check in and the pool would be heated. The day before my stay received another text stating there would be an in person check in and to check my reservation to verify the check in instructions, there was nothing on my reservation about a check in instructions, when I pressed the text said I would receive instructions 24 hours before my stay, I was about 16 hours away, it was very confusing. Nobody seemed to know what was going on. I was very frustrated. After texting back and forth they finally gave me directions to the gate and the directions to add my guests list the guard gate received. I received a call the day of check in from the local property manager that gave me the instructions on how to get to the gate and wanted a list of the guests for the security gate, I told him I already uploaded the info. If he would have called about a week prior to my stay it would have alleviated some of the inconvenience and frustration. Once at the house it was very enjoyable, the house is in a very secure gated community which made my family feel very safe. It is very close to numerous golf courses including Terra Lago. The pool is great but very difficult for seniors to get in the jacuzzi. The house was very clean and had many beds for guests. Besides the one bed that made so much noise the house was perfect for 6 guests and could comfortably fit up to 10. I would definitely book again and plan to do so. I just know to expect poor communication.
