Pull up the wide driveway and the entire front of the lodge comes into view. Climb the broad steps to the grand double front doors and step onto the covered front porch, lined with rustic log rocking chairs and framed by the pines of Idyllwild. This is the very porch where scenes were filmed, where Elvis performed, and where history was made.

Settle into a rocking chair, breathe in the crisp mountain air, and let that sink in.
