Perfect House for our Summer stay. We loved the pool and the personal touch to each room. We definitely liked the entertainment and relax temp.

House was a nice set up for the 6 of us girls going to tennis. The breaker continued to pop when we had multiple hairdryers going. We paid for the spa to be heated but it never got warm enough to go in.

My family & I had planned Thanksgiving and my husband’s birthday in Palm Desert. We absolutely love this area and we’re so excited to be renting a house for everyone to stay in. Unfortunately working with Vacasa was a huge disappointment. We had several issues with the house and they chose not to do anything. I would not recommend them at all - at least not the local office or the manager Mo. What we were not told upfront, and just a few days before we arrived (after paying in full) was there is a noise restriction. Which means no music at all outside and voices need to be quiet. Quiet time begins at 10pm, but they turn all the outside lights off at 9:15pm. The pool is very nice as is the outdoor space. We paid $50/day (in advance) to have it heated, it only heated a few days. It never heated the spa/hot tub once, so we couldn't even use it. That was wasted money. When we arrived, the house was dirty - the floors, bathrooms and kitchen hadn’t been cleaned. The oven was filthy. The worst part was an overwhelming horrific smell. Several doors were off hinges and the kitchen wall was pretty scuffed up. We called when we got to the house & Vascasa assured us they would send someone over to clean the house & fix the broken doors. Never happened. My husband even texted the manager the next day and she never responded. We didn’t care about the scuffs and doors, but wanted to make sure we weren’t going to be held accountable for any of that. The smell was so bad, we hardly slept that first night. Since no one ever came to clean, we went to Target and bought cleaning products and Fabreeze. We had to Fabreeze the house twice a day while we were there. We also bought pillows since the ones there were completely old and lumpy. Aside from that, the WiFi was extremely spotty and there were only a few tv channels available. They had a huge selected of movies to watch but the blueray/dvd player did not work. The house would have been great had it have been clean and not smelled so incredibly awful. We also had to buy extra dishes as there weren’t enough plates for Thanksgiving. After spending appx $4500 on this house, we could have stayed elsewhere without these issues and not had our vacation interrupted. Huge disappointment.

The location was good, it was well maintained, and everything was as advertised. VACASA did a great job with the administrative aspects of the rental.
