Painted Hills Desert Retreat is a gated five-acre compound presenting a secluded Indio Hills paradise, complete with an outdoor kitchen and saltwater pool and spa. Boasting over 3,000-square-feet of beautifully updated living space, the home features a gourmet kitchen and two luxe suites. Hike or bike Dillon Road or explore nearby Thousand Palms Oasis Preserve.

Make yourself at home in the expansive Great Room, featuring a large wet bar and 75' smart TV. You'll also find a full-size futon and an arcade table loaded with classic games. The detached garage has been converted to a game room, fitted with full-size ping-pong, foosball, and air hockey tables, as well as an extra refrigerator.

Prepare tasty meals in the gourmet kitchen, configured with ample quartz counter space and stainless steel appliances.

A private mountain-view oasis, the walled pool deck is spacious and lined with bistro lights. 6' deep, the shimmering saltwater pool includes a tanning ledge and oversize spa. The outdoor kitchen is configured with a sink, ample prep space, and a built-in five-burner grill. Serve hors d'oeuvres beneath a poolside pergola, then dine alfresco at a covered table for everyone. Family-friendly extras include an outdoor shower, kids' play areas, a basketball half-court, and sand soccer and volleyball areas. Top off perfect desert days by stargazing on the poolside hammocks or sharing stories around the gas firepit.

Complimentary Wi-Fi and a dedicated laundry room with a sink and two sets of washer/dryers are provided. Extra perks include a full-size crib and a large rolling ice chest for the pool area.

Riverside County regulations prohibit any 'party' lighting (outdoor luminaires shall not blink, flash, or rotate) and will hold guests liable for any 'light trespass' on surrounding properties.

For 2 days no one came to fix the spa so we can use it during our winter stay but they already charged me for that. And i didnt get any refund for it

The place is more than perfect. If I could rate it 6 stars out of 5 I would have done. The pictures do not do it fair. It’s spacious, very private, outside area is beautiful, swimming pool is fun and clean. Sunrise view is beautiful. Very clean. Among the best Equipped rentals Toaster, blender, grill, pots and pans , spices Large grill. Lots and lots of towels , detergents bedding, we were 19 and we were very comfortable. Look for the hidden outdoor bathroom behind the swimming pool, look for the mint plants if you like mint tea, the game room is nice but we didn’t get to use due to the weather, but it would be nice otherwise. Volleyball and private playground too. The 19 of us agreed that this place was a hit. I would definitely come back

This house is so big and has so much to do. For it being so secluded, it is perfect for star gazing and relaxing by the pool. We got enough groceries for the week and didn’t move the cars till we left. Everything you need for a fun time is provided, like board games, a game room in the garage and smart tv to watch anything. This was my second time visiting this home and I would come back again

Plenty of things to do for all ages. Comfortable rooms. Spacious. The market is only about 20 min away. Beautiful views. There were 15 of us and we had a great time!

Awesome location with great views of San Jacinto and the surrounding ranges. Lots of room for multi-family groups with convenient layout. Fun game room and beautiful pool + spa area.

I rented this house to celebrate my daughters 16th birthday and it was everything I wanted and more! The room with the bunk beds was PERFECT for her and her friends! The game room and other activities were great for the younger kids and the pool was incredible! Loved everything about this house!
