Overview
Originally designed by local architect, Thomas Jakway in 2007, this truly remarkable, one-of-a-kind home welcomes you and your guests to the historic and eclectic South Palm Springs neighborhood known as the Mesa. Inside this 3,500-square-foot, two-story, luxury home, you'll find a number of high-end fixtures, amenities, and decor, all chosen with artistic attention to detail. The large, open kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, custom walnut cabinets, and Caesarstone countertops with easy access to a cooking terrace with a built-in barbecue grill and a view of the backyard and pool deck. The sunlit great room joins the kitchen and dining area with the living room complete with Fleetwood multi-stacking glass doors that vanish into the wall, erasing the line between indoors and out, and taking you out to a living/dining terrace with stunning mountain views.
For sleeping options, there are three phenomenal bedrooms here, all with en suite baths and separate climate controls, spread out over both levels of this home and accessible via a spectacular glass staircase or a personal elevator. The impressive main suite, located on the upper level, includes a dual-sided gas fireplace, a stone soaking tub, front and rear facing windows, and a walk-in closet.
Outside, the uniqueness of this property continues with an astounding oasis backyard nestled up against the hillside, featuring a saltwater pool and spa, a wet bar, gas firepit, numerous seating areas, and your very own ruins! That's right, neighborhood folklore suggests that the ruins were part of a never-completed project to build a casino on an adjacent lot in the 1920s, but now you can dine or socialize within the ancient walls that have been expertly integrated into the landscape.

Special and calm
A wonderful place, unique and smart home
Fabulous rental property! The contemporary house was beautifully designed, well-appointed with beautiful art and comfortable furnishings. The kitchen was well-equipped. The backyard was a mini resort complete with pool, spa, a putting green and very unique “ruin” with an outdoor pool table and dining area. We were totally content to just stay home and enjoy the surroundings and exceptional landscaping. The house is in a great location and very quiet neighborhood abutted up to a mountain where we were entertained daily by a family of bighorn sheep. This home was by far the best property I’ve ever rented.
this house has a great view of the morning sunrise! Backyard has lots of relaxation space and a putting green. Comfortable space with tons of linens and towels - unusual for a rental. The kitchen was well stocked for our needs. There are no side tables in the living room to place a drink. We were left holding our cups which did not allow for morning reading and relaxing.
