Overview
P.S. City ID #47319 | Primary renter must be at least 25 years of age to rent | No Pets Allowed
Designed by Architect Barry Berkus, AIA in 1961, Park Imperial South is the epitome of Mid-Century design and received Historical designation in 2016. In the world of modern architecture, Barry Berkus was a true visionary known for his innovative designs on space, light, cantilevered details, and soaring roof lines. The folded-plate roof with clerestory windows floods the main living space with natural light and the original terrazzo entryway floor blends seamlessly with the newer terrazzo and cork flooring in keeping with that 60's vibe. A very generous private patio with stellar mountain views is the perfect place to dine al fresco or relax with family and friends. The carport and laundry room are conveniently located a few steps away from the front door. Plus, the pool and spa are nearby as well making this an ideal location for the sunbathers and swimmers. Not to mention, the grounds are impeccable with meandering walkways that are highlighted by a fusion of cool green grass and desert landscape.

Loved the area, quiet and convenient to downtown. This condo is a great place to soak up the sun and unwind.
We really enjoyed our month in Palm Springs at this beautiful midcentury modern home. It is very thoughtfully decorated and included everything we needed for our stay. I highly recommend this home, and thank you for making this such a memorable vacation for us.
Beautiful Mid Century Modern home, lots of amenities ,great pool and hot tub. Love the outside fireplace, very clean. We would definitely come back here
This iconic mid century home was a delight. Our 6 week stay in this well furnished, bright and spotless home afforded us comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen with a lovely and private patio with mountain views. Park Imperial South is wonderfully maintained and it’s location in the Araby Cove offers walking and hiking opportunities right from your door. Close to shopping and all you need. Would rent again in a heartbeat.
This updated, immaculate condo is beautiful and has the best location in all of Imperial Park South. The pool and spa is right outside the door. The outdoor space is fantastic at the back of the condo. Fire table bonus! Everything you need is there. Including toiletries. The reason for 4 vs 5 stars is because this unit has a max temp of 68 and Jan 2023 was unusually cold. The original windows to maintain historic integrity (which I admire) just don’t retain heat that well. I expect that normally this is not an issue at all.
We found the location, furniture, Internet, kitchen, beds, and other supplies necessary for a month-long vacation to be spot on. We would not hesitate to rent this place again.
