Dirty dishes etc. I didn’t like the kitchen and didn’t like all the work involved in cleaning to feel like I was comfortable with the cookware, appliances. Hot tub was small, barely had jets, and pieces off in water
Really comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen (important as we cooked a Thanksgiving dinner for our group) great location. Close to downtown.
We came to the area a few days before our daughter’s wedding. The home was clean, spacious and gave us plenty of room to hang out and enjoy ourselves for a few days.
We stayed here for a weekend getaway. It’s a really cute log cabin, which we loved. The private backyard was amazing. It’s fully fenced, has an amazing deck, a fire pit, and a hot tub. Be aware, the hot tub is small and only comfortably fits two adults. Also, there’s a motion light pointing directly at the hot tub, so while you’re relaxing, it shuts off, but the second you move, it turns back on and blinds you which was pretty annoying. It’s definitely dated, but it didn’t really bother us. We sat out back most of the time anyways. We didn’t use the upstairs at all, but did do a walkthrough when figuring out which room we wanted to stay in. One thing I noticed is the two upstairs bedrooms are connected… Meaning you either have to go through one bedroom to get to the other, or go through the adjoining bathroom to get to the back room. May potentially be an issue for adult couples. Overall, we would absolutely stay here again. It’s private, comfortable, and close to the lake. You can tell this home is loved by the owners, and we loved that.
Very nice and big cabin.
