The view is beautiful
We were trying to get away and hide. This house provided the perfect spot for it. It was secluded enough that we didn’t feel suffocated or watched. The views of the surrounding mountains and star filled night sky were amazing. It was close enough to Cascade Lake for some water fun. We had a great time. Met one of the owners and he was fantastic. We highly recommend this place for a low key hideaway getaway. We’d definitely stay here again.
The cabin was amazing, along with the views, the peacefulness, and pure seclusion.
Nice property, remote and quiet. Needs some love though. There was mold in the bathroom which was disappointing, and it needs some overall maintenance. The door handles were falling off, and the dishwasher leaked. Also it lists for 10 people but there is only seating at the dining room table for six. There were folding chairs and TV trays for the other four people I guess? There were only six bath towels as well. Wouldn't necessarily stay here again until it gets some updating and attention.
Donnelly is close enough for some of the best fishing and swimming. If you like hard beds you will get a good sleep if not pack some foam. It was a nice relaxing area and really quiet. No neighbors within ear shot. Family friendly home.
