Close to town and close to where we wanted to snowmobile.
So many hazards, foul smells, had to clean the rental ourselves, the rags were black! Spent 3 hours in total trying to get the only entrance code to work for both entering and leaving. The front steps were torn down, boarded off with danger tape. It looked unkept, unsafe and unclean. We are still trying to get a response. A letter to Corporate is being sent. Renters Beware!!
This house is a dated property with a rustic feel. The only access to the property is through the garage as the main entrance stairs are falling apart. The previous guests apparently burned trash in the fireplace and the whole property reeked. We only stayed one night before we booked another room it was so bad. If they get the smell out, it will be a decent property for sleeping. If you are looking for a property where you can gather, share a meal, and relax after a day of adventuring...look elsewhere.
Garage door was inoperable - Black Mold in Living Room - Garage floor was FILTHY - Glasses in kitchen turned upside down but were stuck to shelf, unsanitary - Front Door steps was a hazard, need to be replaced ASAP - definitely a RIP OFF - we have done VRBO & AIRBNB worldwide and most US southern states and have never encountered such a misleading description - It would not be worth any amount of money - Hotel in town was amazing, but not this horrible place
It was quaint and homey but needs some TLC
