Home layout is really nice, especially the open concept kitchen/living space. Bedrooms are large. Bathrooms are ok, two out of three showers are super small and don’t have great water pressure. There is a musty, mildewy smell throughout the house probably because it’s close to the water, but it’s quite noticeable. Be sure to bring bug spray…the dampness attracts the mosquitos and it’s impossible to be outside in the pool area without bug spray! The house is well appointed and is well stocked with everything from kitchen stuff to puzzles, games, and books. We had a good stay, but the musty smell, lack of water pressure, and bug bites took away from the experience.
Everything was as it was pictured.
The house worked really nice for our family of nine. The kiddos loved the pool. The yard was so pretty and the house was clean and had everything we needed.
Cute, clean home set in a relaxing neighborhood. Perfect for our family during Plebe Parents Weekend. We enjoyed the pool and pretty areas to walk. Would love to stay here again!
The house and grounds are beautiful and located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to Thomas Point Park. We rented for six days for two grandparents (72 year olds), four adult children and two grandchildren (8 and 4 year olds). The bedrooms were large and the linens and mattresses very comfortable. The grand kids loved the bunk beds. The kitchen was large with quality stove, oven, refrigerator, coffee makers and plenty of pots, pans, utensils and serving pieces.
The pool was a big hit. It was clean and well maintained. The seating and deck surround were wonderful. The grandkids loved the pool toys. There was some poison ivy creeping into the landscaped area behind the pool.
The deck, screened in porch were really nice and useful. The gardens with lots of impatients, butterfly bush, hibiscus, and daisies were beautiful and attracted lots of butterflies that the grandkids loved.
My only issue was with the Management Agency (Vacasa) who provided the wrong access code to the lock box. After several phone transfers it was the local rep Danette who provided the correct access code with apologies. The second person I talked to gave me several alternative codes but then asked me to walk around the house to look for a second lock box - it was pouring rain! I got angry and told her to get down to the house to solve this problem to which she took offense. Then talked to Danette who resolved the issue. Not a very good start to an otherwise great six days.
