The house was clean, the furnishings were fine, the beds were comfortable, the master bathroom shower was great but the door stuck badly when you closed it and squeaked loudly when opened or closed, I was lucky enough to have had a little oil with me. The kitchen supplies were adequate but not great. The pool and the beach were a short walk away on a nice little trail, fairly easy walk for elderly and children. A few days before we got there I asked about a grill being available and was told that there would be a charcoal grill on site but it was not delivered until late evening on the day before we were leaving. Overall an adequate stay.
Loved the house. It was nice and clean. Pool was very private which we loved. The only downside was that we could not have a golf cart which is a big part of fun on the island for us. Bring your own cooking/serving utensils if you’re planning on cooking.
The home itself was great and the communications with Vacase was good when needed. However, if someone is in a wheelchair or traveling with kids and you need to take a lot of things to the beach in a wagon, etc then I wouldn't recommend unless you have someone who is physically able to pull the wagon or carry items down a narrow nature trail, up/down approx 40-50 steps and walk down a long dock. This was the only misleading thing in the description as the beach is more than a few steps away and not easily accessible if you have a lot of things to take with you. We managed but would find somewhere with better access next time as we had a wagon and 4 children and several things to carry. We (2 females) managed but had to carry the wagon up and down the stairs and pull it down and back a not so easy narrow nature trail. The pool also requires a walk down a nature trail to access. I would also recommend maybe adding some signs so you know which way to go to get to the pool/beach. Like I said, the home was great and the beach was great. If you are a couple looking to relax and just enjoy going to the beach without a lot of things to take then I certainly recommend!
Horrible! Nothing but issues. Arrived to a completely dirty house that had not been cleaned. Our 4:00 checkin turned into 8:30. After we finally got in at 830, they told us one of the 3 bathrooms was locked and we would have to wait until the next day to use it. They advised they would send someone to clean it the next day. As of 6pm the next day, nobody was sent to clean. In addition to that, the main floor bathroom had NO hot water. Maintenance was called but it didnt fix it. They just left tools all over sink. Our whole stay we could only use 1 out of 3 bathrooms for 8 people! They agreed to pay for dinner and refund 1 night but 2 weeks later, still only partial refund.
The house was beautiful with plenty of room for all. It was an easy walk to the beach and the shared pool. We along with the grandkids had a wonderful time. If you are older be aware that there are lots of stairs, with the kitchen and living room on the top floor.
