Enclosed foyer stairs provide access to the spacious living/dining/kitchen area on the first floor. Barefoot Bungalow's beachy furnishings create lots of space for your family and friends to spread out and relax. The living area offers a large TV, a queen sleeper sofa, amazing views of the Gulf, and glass doors that open to the beachfront deck. The teak furniture on the covered deck is perfect for relaxation and alfresco dining. The house is large, spacious, and very nice. The back deck is great and the beach access is so convenient. The bedrooms are all very nice and the two masters are awesome! Complaints—The hot tub didn’t work, the grill is useless, the pics of the beach (on the booking site) are not accurate. The oven is a struggle to cook with, there was mold on the shower curtains, and the couches need to be replaced with something a little nicer and more comfortable. The outdoor shower is nice but needs to be cleaned up and the sand removed. We had a great week and enjoyed the Plantation. We would stay here again.

The location was ideal. Note to cooks: good assortment of cookware. However, there is no cheese grater. Bring with you all seasonings as not even salt and pepper were provided, and bring tin foil, plastic wrap, baggies etc.

View was great. We saw dolphins every day. Vacasa was responsive when we reported several lightbulbs out, slow draining sinks, and roaches. We appreciated that the den has new sofas. Dining room chair seats need to be replaced. It would be ideal if the cleaning crew could change lightbulbs, report bug issues, etc, or at least notify maintenance so the renters don’t have to spend vacation time dealing with it. The house has a great beach view, and the steps, boardwalk on the way to the beach appear to be fairly new.

Great views and easy beach access. There is a large prickly bush hidden under the sand which hurt dogs and infants. Need pest control to come by but it was mostly great.

Very spacious and just a wonderful place to spend a multi-generational vacation with my parents and siblings and all of our kids. We loved our time on St. George Island the the home was beautiful and the views were stunning. I never wanted to leave the porch when I wasn't on the beach!
