Lovely coastal home with pool access, fast WiFi, screened patio & great location

The location of this place is perfect. You're less than a 5-minute walk from the beach and just a quick 10-minute drive to downtown Port St. Joe. It made getting around with our group super easy. We also had a great experience with Vacasa's team when a bedroom door handle broke; they were on it right away. We gave them the green light to go in while we were out, and it was fixed by the time we got back. Having two kitchens was a game-changer for our big party—all that extra fridge and cooking space was a huge help. That said, there were a few things that could have been better. We were surprised to find that the second kitchen was completely empty. Both kitchens were also missing some basic stuff, like frying pans and baking sheets, so we had to go buy our own. We even left a frying pan behind for the next guests! For a house that sleeps 12, the amenities felt a little light. There were only six beach towels, and we couldn't find any beach chairs or an umbrella. Since we all traveled from out of town, we couldn't bring our own, so that was a bit of a pain. Inside, the seating in the main living room wasn't quite enough for all of us to hang out together comfortably. The TV was also a bit of a letdown since most of the cable channels didn't work. On top of that, the Wi-Fi was pretty spotty throughout the house, and our phones and laptops were constantly getting dropped. Overall, the spot is great and the location can't be beat. With a few simple additions to the kitchen, more beach gear, and some minor fixes to the TV and Wi-Fi, this place would be a perfect rental.

The house was the perfect size and excellent proximity to everything. However the cleanliness of the home was unacceptable. This began with a very strong marijuana smell when we walked in the door. We then noticed trash in the cans, unclean floors, a vape in the couch, dirty counters and even a fingernail laying on the counter. Later that evening our girls found blood on the sheets when they pulled the sheets back to go to bed. This was found late that night, there was no extra bedding for us to remake the bed and no one was able to come until the next day to provide us with extra sheets. It was obvious the house had not been cleaned and no bedding had been changed before we arrived. I was told I would received a credit to my account to include $100 along with the supplies I had to purchase to clean the counters and the pot and pan we purchased since the ones in the cabinet were disgusting. I was also informed that someone would contact me the next day to discuss this with me further as it was midnight when I finally got off the phone with customer service. 4 days later and I have yet to hear back from them nor have I received the credits they promised.

Loved the double kitchen and how much space inside. Definitely can fit two vehicles in the garage with no issue. Access to pool and beach are a nice bonus just wished parking was a little easier.

I booked this place for a girls trip and it was great! We all had plenty of room and the whole house was so clean. We all really appreciated the big size shampoo and conditioner provided. The neighborhood is so nice and we felt so safe in the area with it just being a bunch of ladies and little girls. I would book again!

Much bigger than expected. Perfect for a large family. The private mother-n-law suite is a great addition. Within walking distance of local Windmwark amenities.

This out stood out from the rest around it for the wrong reasons.
