The home is gorgeous, well maintained, very clean, and close to the beach. This is our third year at this location, it just feels right without being overly touristy.

We’ve never visited Mexico Beach before and I’m so glad we booked Summerhouse 103 for our 1st trip. Our expectations will be very high in the event this home is not available next time we visit. I reviewed countless private homes and condos in the area before selecting this one and I’m so glad this was my choice. First, the reserved parking spot is very convenient to both sets of stairs and the elevator (the condo is on the 1st floor but you do have to go up to get to it). Additionally, it’s conveniently located to the front exit of the building that exits right at a pedestrian crosswalk that leads directly to the beach. You can even see your family walk across from the balcony and living room. I was very happy to see there was a spray off shower on property as well. Everything inside was very clean, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook with, the washer and dryer worked great (no coming home with a weeks worth of dirty clothes). The master tub was so inviting, my only complaint is I didn’t use it, but that’s on me. I did see a few reviews that had me concerned about the comfy-ness of the beds. I’m not sure if the owners eventually made changes but we had no complaints, the beds were extremely comfortable, we slept great! My husband is still talking about the ceiling fan in the master (we need to know where that came from so we can have one at home). My only recommendation: adding a TV in the guest room and USB ports/charging stations in the guest room would be great. There’s no shortage of USB charging everywhere else (master bedroom had them built into the nightstand and living room had plenty behind the end table), we just didn’t see that option in the guest room. Luckily I thought ahead and brought the charging blocks with us but that may not be the case for all visitors. My teenage son stayed in that room and would have liked a tv in there as well but, it all worked out for our visit because we were exhausted every night and in bed by 8 most nights, so he used the living room TV. We will definitely return! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.
