Macon Memories

The Vacasa team are professional and responsive to all requests. Their communication is excellent. MM is a perfect house for several couples. The soundproofing is excellent for late nighters and early risers. We had several cooks and the layout of the kitchen made it easy for us to all be doing something at the same time…the range is especially nice. We were there for Thanksgiving and really enjoyed cooking all week. There is a nice, cozy area, plus a s all balcony, at the back end of the kitchen. Most of our crew began their day there. The house is designed for everyone to be together, but also has spaces for smaller groups. Situated at a narrow part of SGI, there are gorgeous water views from every room in the house. Macon Memories is a happy place guaranteed to make lots of memories!

Our stay at the Macon Memories was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by breathtaking views of the ocean from the third floor. The sun rises were absolutely magical from the deck and living areas. The house itself was incredibly spacious, making it perfect for our family. Each bedroom came with its own en suite bathroom, which was a huge plus for comfort and privacy. One of our favorite features was the large kitchen and open living area. The 12’ kitchen island became the heart of our gatherings! Whether it was enjoying coffee in the morning, prepping lunch or all of us cooking dinner together, everything was thoughtfully laid out, making entertaining a breeze. Highly recommend this beach house for families or groups looking for a peaceful and luxurious escape.

We love staying at Macon Memories. The kitchen layout is wonderful for cooking. The beds are comfortable. The elevator is so necessary for my mom who is 79 years old, carrying up groceries, etc. And the beach, of course, is just fabulous and has such easy access from the home!

House has everything we needed. Perfect location.

My girlfriends and I come to St. George annually to Macon Memories to celebrate Mother’s Day. We love the layout of Macon Memories. It is perfect for nine senior ladies. No more than two ladies had to share a bathroom. The icemaker and the extra bathroom on the bottom level is an awesome addition. Only feet away from the beach, no running upstairs to get ice and drinks and going to the bathroom. Macon Memories is located on the east side of the island. There is only one house between Making Memories and the state park so there is very little people traffic on the beach. You feel like it is your own private beach.

I loved the house but I spent almost 3 hours when I arrived because the gate code sent to me was wrong. The 10 digit house code was too difficult and required 3 phone calls to get someone else to come let us in.
