The beach

The condo was immaculately clean. The furnishings and decor are light and relaxing. It is the perfect place for our extended family of 8, including 13 and 9 yr old grandsons. We much prefer Ocaloosa Island to the Destin end of the beach. Already planning our next trip!

Absolutely beautiful unit. Very clean and smelled wonderful. Only a few minor issues. Mainly the internet was spotty and mostly didn’t work. Cable kept freezing up as well. Not sure if that was a provider issue or something else. Also dryer didn’t work. Vacasa was notified and quickly responded so hopefully these issues will be fixed for the next guests. Neither of these issues are a deal breaker. We were ready to rebook this unit next September but was quoted double the amount than what we paid for it which made it completely unaffordable for us.

Pros: Condo and grounds were beautiful and plenty of room for our family to spread out. It was a nice surprise that one umbrella and 2 chairs were included with our condo. The kitchen was well stocked and plenty of good places to eat nearby. Grounds were very secure and swimming pool area always clean. Cons: The biggest concern for our family was there was no lock on the inside of our condo door. Our 21 month old grandson could literally walk up and turn the handle and walk out. No lock on inside and door is not heavy. Anyone with small children should be aware of this. It's definitely a safety concern. Considering how secured the grounds were (codes needed for everything) we were very surprised at this. Early check-in not allowed.
