Spacious 5th floor condo with sweeping views of the Gulf, steps to beach

I was so surprised to see the size of the bedrooms and living area. So much room! The views from the balcony are amazing. The condo is well-stocked with cooking items. It was a quiet and comfortable stay.

My parents live on the 7th floor and we like to rent in their building to give our family some extra living space when visiting. This condo did not disappoint. Very clean and all the kitchen items we needed to cook were available. Great response from Vacasa and enjoyed the little starter pack of soaps and detergents so we didn’t have to rush to the store upon arrival. We are renting again in March! You can’t beat the sunset view from the end unit with extra windows and balcony view.

Spacious and met all our needs

For the most part we enjoyed our stay. The dryer was out of order before we arrived and the management staff handled the situation poorly. I called when we arrived on Friday and found the “out of order” sign on the dryer. The lady I spoke to told me that a repair person would be there on Saturday morning to repair the appliance. Saturday morning they text stating that a part had to be ordered and provided a unit for us to dry our laundry in but it was only available until 6pm. We had been at the beach all day and didn’t get back until 5pm. We had barely enough time to dry one load. I text on Sunday asking for clean towels because we were out. I received a reply that someone would be by to deliver clean towels. I informed them we were leaving soon to go eat, and I was told they would be there shortly. No one ever showed up with fresh towel. We had to wash what we had and hang them on the balcony to dry. Knowing we were having this issue I would have thought they would be more accommodating but I heard nothing from anyone after 5pm on Sunday and we left on Tuesday. I have rented condos for years in Ft. Walton and have never had this kind of experience when there was an issue. We like the location of the condo and would like to rent again but not if this is how the management treats guests. I hope the owners see this review so that this mistreatment doesn’t happen to another one of their guests.

Absolutely love this place! Will definitely be our new go-to for vacation. Has everything you need, easy access, incredible views, clean and spacious.
