My son and I decided to get away from everyone and just do our own Thanksgiving this year.. he’s in Alabama working, I’m in C FL… so halfway between us was Carrabelle and I found this absolute gem of a rental and booked immediately! We brought nothing but food and clothes and we had everything else we needed there! Absolutely heaven!! The peace and quiet, serenity and privacy, yet close to so much nature and adventure! We enjoyed the fire pit because it was so chilly and we left wood for the next renters.. This place reminded me of the simpler times at my granny’s house. I love the vintage decor!! We enjoyed our few days there SO much, we are already trying to figure out next stay hopefully SOON!!’ 10 out of 10 if you’re simple like we are, love nature, no hustle and bustle or big box stores and traffic!! Absolutely perfect.! Thank you for sharing your beautiful cottage with us 🫶🏼❤️
The home is cute and I believe it had all necessities. The water was not drinkable as sediments and minerals were plentiful. I purchased water at the local grocery store. We did not stay long -arrived at 4:30pm left at 1:15am due to my husband having a medical issue, which he had to have an emergency operation once we arrived to Gainesville. I had to hide the key as the lock box code would not work. I was hoping for a partial refund after explaining to the PM but none was offered. Overall, the home was cute (though bring water) and accessible to many things we would have loved to explored, unfortunately we did not have the opportunity.
Nothing. It could be made to make you more comfortable. The water really is an issue
Loved the secluded cottage. Cute character and relaxing.
Great little southern gem tucked back in the pines. We weren't at the house much but when we were it was fine.
